The SeVerna Affordable Housing Community Selects E-Landscape for Design-Build Project

Davidsonville, MD October 11, 2012 –

Davidsonville, Maryland‐based commercial landscaping specialist E‐Landscape Specialty Solutions
announced today that it has completed work on the design phase of the landscaping for The SeVerna
affordable housing community in Washington, DC.

The SeVerna is a 60 unit building along First Street NW, connecting to two‐over‐two townhouses along L
Street NW in DC. There will soon be a mix of studio 1, 2, 3, and 4 bedroom units. The entire SeVerna
project incorporates sustainable design principals. Owned by The SeVerna LLC, this building was
developed by Golden Rule Apartments, Inc., Mission First Housing Development Corporation, and The
Henson Development Company. General Contractor Hamel Builders began construction on the project
in 2011.

E‐Landscape’s scope for the design‐build project includes landscape design, planting of shrubs, trees and
perennials, and installation of topsoil and lawns.
