Hemingways Restaurant Selects E-Landscape for Installation Work

Davidsonville, MD May 15, 2011 –

Davidsonville, Maryland‐based commercial landscaping specialist E‐Landscape Specialty Solutions
announced today that it has been awarded the contract to provide commercial landscaping services for
Hemingways Restaurant in Kent Island, Maryland.

Long known as a destination for great crabcakes and stunning sunsets, Hemingways is famous for its
location at the foot of the Bay Bridge overlooking Maryland’s Chesapeake Bay. When the 20 year old
restaurant was sold in 2010, the new owners decided to embark upon an ambitious $4 million
renovation of the property. The new Hemingways opened in May of 2011.

Our work at Hemingways included hardscape installation (including paver pathways), softscaping, tree
planting, sod installation, irrigation, and the construction of rain gardens and stormwater retention
systems – a critical feature given Hemingway’s location on the Chesapeake Bay
