Davidsonville, MD June 12, 2012 – Davidsonville, Maryland‐based commercial landscaping specialist E‐Landscape Specialty Solutions announced today that it has been awarded the contract to install landscaping for a new medical office building that has been developed as part of a partnership between Anne Arundel Health System and Johns Hopkins Medicine at Odenton Gateway in Odenton, MD. Located on the corner of route 175 and Sappington Station Drive, this new medical office building will include primary and specialty care services to provide orthopedic practices, imaging facilities, medical and surgical oncology and primary care. Lab and pharmacy services will also be included in the new medical building. In addition to medical services space, Odenton Gateway will also include 254 apartments. The project was designed by CR Goodman and Associates and is being developed by the Johnson Development Corporation. Reliable Contracting Co. and Elm Street Development began construction on the project in 2009, and the medical center should be fully operational by fall 2012. E‐Landscape’s scope of work includes providing landscape installation services, including laying new lawns on the property. Davidsonville, MD May 15, 2011 – Davidsonville, Maryland‐based commercial landscaping specialist E‐Landscape Specialty Solutions announced today that it has been awarded the contract to provide commercial landscaping services for Hemingways Restaurant in Kent Island, Maryland. Long known as a destination for great crabcakes and stunning sunsets, Hemingways is famous for its location at the foot of the Bay Bridge overlooking Maryland’s Chesapeake Bay. When the 20 year old restaurant was sold in 2010, the new owners decided to embark upon an ambitious $4 million renovation of the property. The new Hemingways opened in May of 2011. Our work at Hemingways included hardscape installation (including paver pathways), softscaping, tree planting, sod installation, irrigation, and the construction of rain gardens and stormwater retention systems – a critical feature given Hemingway’s location on the Chesapeake Bay

Davidsonville, MD April 25, 2011 – Davidsonville, Maryland‐based commercial landscaping specialist E‐Landscape Specialty Solutions announced today that it has been awarded the contract to provide commercial landscape construction work for the U.S. Coast Guard Access Road at the St. Elizabeth’s hospital West Campus in Washington, DC. St. Elizabeth’s was originally established by Congress in 1855 as the Government Hospital for the Insane. In addition to providing mental health facilities for the Army, Navy, and District of Columbia, the facility also served as a hospital for Civil War soldiers. In 1916, Congress officially changed the name of the facility to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital. St. Elizabeth’s is divided into two campuses. The West Campus is owned by the federal government and is under the custody and control of GSA. It is located in the Anacostia community in southeast Washington on a hill overlooking the Anacostia River with panoramic views of Washington and Virginia. The East Campus, owned by the District of Columbia, is located across Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue from the West Campus and is still in use as a mental health facility. The West Campus was constructed between the 1850s and the 1960s and consists of 176 acres and 61 buildings with approximately 1.1 million gross square feet of space. It is a National Historic Landmark. The GSA has prepared a Master Plan for the development of the West Campus as a high security campus for federal agencies, including the U.S. Coast Guard. The construction of the Coast Guard Headquarters is the first project at the new St. Elizabeth’s campus. It is currently under construction with plans to achieve LEED v2.2 Gold certification. The project includes over 500,000 square feet of green roof and a storm water management system including wet ponds, bio‐swales and step pools to handle storm water runoff for the entire campus. E‐Landscape’s scope of work includes the construction of a rain collection and storm water management system, subdrainage, and the installation of pavers.

Davidsonville, MD April 19, 2011 – Davidsonville, Maryland‐based commercial landscaping specialist E‐Landscape Specialty Solutions announced today that it has been awarded the contract to provide hard and softscaping for Phase I of the Hilltop Housing complex and a new recreation center in Ellicott City (Howard County), Maryland. The Hilltop site and the new recreation center will comprise the first phase of redevelopment for what will eventually be a larger, mixed income community. The Howard County Housing Commission plans for the project call for Hilltop Housing on Mount Ida Drive and the neighboring Ellicott Terrace apartments to be replaced by a mix of 273 housing units, some at market‐rate and others subsidized. Included will be a new, 45,000‐square‐foot public recreation center, which County Executive Ken Ulman describes as a “fabulous state‐of‐the‐art recreation center that will uplift not just the immediate community but … the entire area.” The result will be a new, and so far nameless, community that is to be completed in 2014. Phase I – Hilltop and the recreation center – will be completed first, in 2013. E‐Landscape’s scope of work includes the construction of a rain collection and storm water management system, subdrainage, and the installation of pavers.

Davidsonville, MD March 31, 2011 – Davidsonville, Maryland‐based commercial landscaping specialist E‐Landscape Specialty Solutions announced today that it has been named fourth on the list of Washington, DC’s top commercial landscapers by the Washington Business Journal. This is E‐Landscape’s first year on the list since the company’s founding in 2007. “We are thrilled to be fourth on this prestigious list of the area’s top commercial landscapers. As one of the youngest companies on the list – we were founded in 2007 – this is a real honor,” commented E‐ Landscape President Eric Drenner. The $130 million, 500‐unit Park Morton redevelopment project is a dual partnership between the Warrenton Group and the Landex Companies. Wiencek & Associates Architects & Planners designed the Phase One building and general contractors Hamel Builders are carrying out the construction, which is slated for completion this spring. The 83 unit building is sited on what was once three parcels of vacant land, and will comprise both public and affordable housing units. The building also includes 2,300 square feet of retail space. The objective of the project’s developers and design team was to create a work of architecture that exudes modernity and sophistication, and to challenge preconceived notions about “affordable housing” by using high quality materials and employing an elegant design on the exterior as well as the interior. Some notable features of the building include two landscaped rooftop terraces, one of which will be outfitted with numerous planters for community gardening opportunities. This green roof will not only provide residents a chance at producing healthy produce, but also lower the energy bill by decreasing the solar load on the flat building top. In addition, all sidewalks are being replaced with brick pavers, granite curbs, and two rows of continuous planter strips, where trees, shrubs, and flowers will bring shade, color, and life to the public space. E‐Landscape’s scope of work includes planting, site furnishings, and the creation of small pocket landscapes around this urban building.

Davidsonville, MD October 11, 2012 – Davidsonville, Maryland‐based commercial landscaping specialist E‐Landscape Specialty Solutions announced today that it has completed work on the design phase of the landscaping for The SeVerna affordable housing community in Washington, DC. The SeVerna is a 60 unit building along First Street NW, connecting to two‐over‐two townhouses along L Street NW in DC. There will soon be a mix of studio 1, 2, 3, and 4 bedroom units. The entire SeVerna project incorporates sustainable design principals. Owned by The SeVerna LLC, this building was developed by Golden Rule Apartments, Inc., Mission First Housing Development Corporation, and The Henson Development Company. General Contractor Hamel Builders began construction on the project in 2011. E‐Landscape’s scope for the design‐build project includes landscape design, planting of shrubs, trees and perennials, and installation of topsoil and lawns.

Davidsonville, Maryland‐based commercial landscaping specialist E‐Landscape Specialty Solutions announced today that it has been awarded the contract to provide commercial landscaping services for the Washington Dodd Apartments in New Jersey. Located in Orange, New Jersey, the Washington Dodd Apartments were newly renovated in 2011. They include more than 300 affordable apartments and townhouses in a park‐like setting. E‐Landscape will be providing negative grade corrections and turf renovations for this tenant‐in‐place project.
