E-Landscape To Provide Landscape Design-Build Services To Dahlgreen Courts

Davidsonville, MD January 3, 2012 –

Davidsonville, Maryland-based commercial landscaping specialist E-Landscape Specialty Solutions
announced today that it has been awarded a contract to provide landscape design-build services for the
development of Dahlgreen Courts, an affordable housing community in Washington, DC.

Located two blocks from the red line Rhode Island Avenue Metro Station, and one block from the major
thoroughfare of Rhode Island Avenue, Dahlgreen Courts was originally built to provide affordable
housing for federal government workers. It is now in need of rehabilitation, and this project includes the
preservation of 96 units of affordable housing and the substantial rehabilitation of two historic buildings
in the Brookland neighborhood.

Dahlgreen Courts was developed by Mission First Housing Development Corporation (MFHDC) and
designed by architects Weincek & Associates. The building was constructed by Hamel Builders and it is
intended to qualify for Enterprise Green Communities. E-Landscape finished the landscape design for
Dahlegreen Courts and installation is set to begin shortly.
