E-Landscape to Provide Landscape Installation Services for Gateway Village Apartments
Davidsonville, MD May 22, 2013 –
E‐Landscape recently began work on the installation of new landscaping for the renovation of the Gateway Village Apartments in Capitol Heights, Maryland. Owned by National Church Residences, Gateway Village is an independent living community providing safe and easy‐maintenance living for seniors who can still live independently, and enjoy engaging in social activities with other seniors.
The original Gateway Village apartment building was constructed in 1985 and is now undergoing a comprehensive, tenant‐in‐place renovation led by Hamel Builders.
E‐Landscape’s work includes:
- Grading to create a vegetated swale at the rear of the property to effectively move water off site and to an existing storm inlet
- The installation of new concrete walks, trash container pad, and patio
- Construction of bio retention ponds
- Procurement and installation of site furnishings
Gateway Village is the latest in a long list of affordable housing projects for which E‐Landscape has provided landscape installation services. E‐Landscape’s scope of work at Capitol Gateway includes grading, the construction of bioretention ponds, paver installation, and site furnishings.
